Sore Muscles or Joints? New Space-Age wraps help!
Fabrics that radiate far infra-red
By impregnating natural and man-made fiber with ceramic-insulating
powder, new fabrics have been developed. These materials are
now being used in chairs, mattresses, and blankets. Research
shows these unique materials are very effective in relieving
soreness and swelling,
Accordingly, THERMO FLOW has developed various types of elasticized
thermal wraps which are designed for use on those parts of the
body (such as the joints) which may suffer from aches, sprains,
or other soft tissue injuries.
THERMO FLOW'S specially-designed thermal wraps help accelerate
the body's own natural healing process and may actually minimize
scarring. Such Far Infra-Red wraps worn during exercise help
increase sweating, removal of lactic acid, and breakdown of fats
and toxins.
Athletes previously used wraps made of myelin or rubber to
achieve similar benefits. However since such materials fail to
breathe well, skin inflammations often resulted. In contrast,
Far Infra-Red wraps maximize body sweat, while simultaneously
preventing muscles from feeling over-worked. In time these wraps
will noticeably improve muscle tone. By using an assortment of
body thermal wraps during competitions or training, athletes
have been able to eliminate soreness and muscle spasms while
reducing the likelihood of future injuries. Wraps help mend injured
or over-used muscles, tendons and ligaments.
For decades, doctors and physical therapists have recommended
Far Infra-Red lamps and thermal systems to relieve a variety
of problems. THERMO FLOW believes smaller products, such as their
Far Infra-Red thermal wraps can be more conveniently used on
a daily basis. Thus allowing treatment to take place around the
clock.
Clinical tests show thermal wraps relieve pain from:
Arthritis or rheumatism, Knee pain, Circulatory problems, Sports
injuries, Carpal tunnel syndrome, Varicose veins, Lower back
pain, Leg cramps, Numbness of extremities
Color isothermography shows the effects of far-infrared radiation.

Far Infra-red: Exactly what is it?
Sunlight consists of different wavelengths of light. When
combined they produce the "white light" that we experience
every day. Infra-red light is in this spectrum's lower range,
and although its rays aren't visible to the eye, it generates
the warmth that we feel on bright sunny days.
Infra-red rays vary in wavelengths, and are categorized as
near infra-red, mid infra-red and far infra-red.
While these rays share the attributes listed below, they are
most noticeable in far infra-red waves.
Radiation: Infra-red rays radiate or spread from a localized
source.
Penetration: Unlike visible light, infra-red rays can deeply
penetrate skin and the underlying tissues.
Resonance: Infra-red rays naturally generate heat by causing
the body's molecules to rapidly vibrate against each other.
Infra-red & health: The relationship
When infra-red rays penetrate the skin, they come into contact
with protein, collagen and fats, By stimulating micro-vibrations
far infra-red cause a thermal reaction which elevates tissue
temperatures. The human body then reacts by dilating all the
blood vessels regardless of size. Tissues are revitalized because
of the improved (micro & macro) circulation.
It should be noted that an important principle of traditional
Chinese medicine is that good blood circulation promotes good
health. Conversely, an obstructed blood flow will increase the
likelihood of disease and pain. Other ancient Asian therapies
such as the Japanese "Palm Therapy" and China's "Qi
GongTherapy" are also based on the premise that the human
body itself, is capable of radiating infra-red rays.
Infra-red therapy has proven to be effective because its "hot
rays" exhibit analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic
capabilities. Therefore, Thermo Flow's far infra-red products
are useful in the treatment of sub-acute or chronic inflammations,
and for trauma, scar adhesions and nerve pain.
"I wore thermal wraps in a continuous fashion and the
ache and pain I normally experience has virtually disappeared."
- Neil Buechler
"A co-worker introduced me to Thermo Flow's lower back
brace, and wearing this over a period of time has eased my discomfort
tremendously."

Does poor lighting risk health?
Yes, according to renowned photobiologist John Ott, who is
a pioneer in the study of the biological effects of light. He
has discovered that light containing the full wavelength spectrum
found in natural sunlight is necessary for our optimum well-being.
In fact, he contends that inadequate light poses a serious health
threat.
Most artificial lighting, such as incandescent or fluorescent,
doesn't have the complete balanced spectrum of natural sunlight,
Dr. Ott believes poor light causes a condition which he calls,
"mal-illumination." He suggests insufficient light,
could be as devastating to the body as malnutrition.
Whenever vital wavelengths are missing in the light we receive,
our bodies are unable to completely absorb certain nutrients.
Consequently, our body is malnourished, even though we are eating
properly. Dr. Ott thinks "mal illumination" can cause
depression, fatigue and impaired immune function. Other symptoms
may be skin damage and loss of hair.
Dr. John Downing, of the Preventative Medical Center in San
Rafael, California has been conducting clinical studies on the
effects of light for 20 years. He states, "We cause or worsen
a wide range of health problems by spending 90% of our lives
indoors under inadequate lighting conditions."
The author, Dr. Jacob Liberman, of LIGHT MEDICINE OF THE FUTURE,
describes the body as a living photocell, stimulated and regulated
by light. "Our lives, our health and wellbeing are truly
dependent on the sun. The human body is nourished directly by
the stimulation of sunlight or indirectly nourished by eating
foods, drinking fluids, or breathing air that's been vitalized
by the sun's light energy."
Releasing Toxins Stored in the Body
"Many thanks for sending me the T-shirt. The results
have been beyond my highest expectations."
- Helen Jones
"Amazing! I had carpal tunnel syndrome for over a year.
Your wrist wraps cleared it up in 1 week!"
- Ron Carlson
Do you know?
Increasing the absorption of solar energy accelerates the
burning up of fates, sugars and toxins. Experimental animals
receiving full-spectrum light from the sun will weight less,
than animals fed an identical diet, but were not exposed to full
spectrum sunlight. A lack of a balanced spectrum of light can
cause loss of muscle tone and strength. Windows, windshields,
eye-glasses, smog, and suntan lotions all filter out parts of
the light spectrum.
When light enters our eyes, millions of cells convert the
light into electrical impulses, which travel along the optic
nerve to our brain. These impulses then trigger our hypothalamus
gland and the endocrine system. Most automatic bodily functions
such as breathing, digestion, blood pressure and body temperature
are governed by the endocrine system. It also influences our
immune system, moods, sexual function, and even how we age.
Albert Szent-Gyorgi, the Nobel Prize winner and the discoverer
of vitamin C, believed the sun's energy has profound effects
on us. His research revealed that light can literally alter our
basic biological functions. Several other studies have also provided
significant evidence that sunlight produces a metabolic effect
in the body that is akin to the benefits derived from physical
exercise.
One of the earliest Far Infra-Red health products developed
was a sauna which used radiant energy instead of hot air. In
1965, Dr. Tadashi Ishikawa received the patent on the zirconia
ceramic infra-red heaters used in these saunas. These thermal
systems were used exclusively by medical practitioners in Japan
until 1979 when they were released for public use. Infra-red
panels that produce lower heat levels were also developed for
use in hospitals to warm newborn babies.
Studies conducted by Martinek and Berezin in 1979 found that
some wavelengths of light could stimulate certain enzymes to
be 500% more effective and other wavelengths can affect the movement
of substances across cell membranes. More recent research shows
that sunlight stimulates the thyroid gland to increase it s hormone
levels, translating into increased metabolism and weight loss.
For centuries, scientists have known that plants are dependent
upon sunlight for photosynthesis. However, only recently have
they recognized similarities between humans and plants in their
dependence upon light.
The sun's rays affect vital processes in both people and plants.
In humans, photons are the catalyst for the production of sugars,
fats, and proteins.
Photons stimulate our endocrine system, our metabolic processes
and enzyme reactions as well as activities in the brain. When
this connection is disturbed, disorders follow. Enzymes in the
body's cells, which should normally be activated, fail to receive
the proper wave lengths of light. Instead, the cells remain dormant,
and are unable to begin normal, cellular metabolic reactions.
This results in lower cellular energy, glandular insufficiencies
and a lessened ability to burn fats and eliminate toxins.
Scientists are studying infrared wavelengths of light, in
order to improve their understanding of far-infrared's therapeutic
effects on our bodies.
"I could not believe the difference the first time I
wore Thermo Flow's knee support. The pain eased considerably
and I am able to continue doing all the physical daily work I
need to do."
- William Eckersley
Amazing! According to Sang Wang, author of Reversing Aging,
over 150 patents have been granted to the Japanese for a wide
range of far-infrared products, such as sauna, incubators, in
addition to wave generating ceramics and fabrics.
How do Thermoflow / SolarTherm products work?
All Thermo Flow products contain ceramic fibbers that absorb
ambient far-infrared rays and then radiate this natural energy
back into the body's tissues, promoting and improving blood circulation.
The thermal energy produced often is not felt by the wearer so
the products can be comfortably worn year round.
